This is one of our core specializations. Our team represents clients in arbitrations before various arbitration courts and centres in Europe.
Alexandr Mareš and Suzanne Wolfe Martin successfully acted as co-counsels for AGROFERT Holding in major regional arbitration in the amount of EUR 105.5 million against PKN Orlen.
Our team successfully defended CCS Česká společnost pro platební karty in domestic commercial arbitration and has reached a settlement with a claimant fully controlled by the Czech government.
While acting for one of VÍTKOVICE subsidiary as claimant, we also won arbitration against ABN AMRO Bank. Our team also acted for claimant in arbitration against EBRD and other defendents before the LCIA in London.
In addition, Alexandr Mareš has been acting as chairman, sole arbitrator and member of tribunal in over 130 domestic and international arbitrations in Prague, but also in Vienna, Warsaw and Paris. He is also arbitrator of arbitration courts attached to the ICC and to Czech, Austrian, Polish, Russian and Hungarian chambers of commerce. He was recently a member of tribunal in arbitration between ČEZ and the Republic of Bulgaria.
