Dr. Martin Kryl

is a of counsel to Mareš Partners with specialization in banking and finance.

After finishing the Law Faculty of Charles University in 1988, he made his career for 20 years in banking, mostly as a top executive. He started as a legal counsel in capital markets of Živnostenská banka and was involved in preparation of number of privatization projects as well as government and corporate bond issues. He also took part in drawing of the Prague Stock Exchange (PSE) regulation. Later he became a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the PSE.

Since late 90’ he acted as a Board Member of of Živnostenská banka, OTP Banka Slovensko and LBBW Bank CZ. His focus comprised from private banking and asset management to retail and commercial banking. He gained also management consulting experience while he led FSI consulting team in Deloitte’ Prague office.

He was admitted as an “Advokát” to the Czech Bar in 2010.
